NORS (NOkia Remote Sensing) is a platform for mobile-centric wireless sensing,
according to the Remote Sensing Architecture (N-RSA), as defined in the
specifications below.
N-RSA is an event-based architecture that allows for collecting and aggregating
sensor data obtains locally at mobile device gateways. The underlying event
subscription model of the N-RSA enables to transfer only relevant data. With this,
the existing intelligence in the mobile devices is exploited to reduce data traffic
and distribute system logic. See more in the specification material below.
The NORS package consists of two parts:

For each package we specify the version with which the NORS platform was tested,
but other versions, especially newer might also work fine
The packages contain project files for compiling the package under Microsoft
Visual C++ 6.0 or higher and Dev-C++ version 4.9.9.1 (only for “without
Sierra” part of the package) or higher. We selected Dev-C++ as a secondary
compiling platform since it is a free of charge compiler package available from http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html
